After 20+ years working alongside manufacturing leadership teams, we started Manufacturing Growth Lab (MGL) for one simple reason: too many great manufacturers are trying to grow on heroics instead of a system.

We kept seeing the same pattern—sales carrying the load through relationships and hustle, while marketing is either “whack-a-mole” tactics or missing altogether. The result is a thin pipeline, unclear differentiation, and leadership making big growth decisions without reliable data.

Why We Exist

In 2020, we codified what we’d learned into a framework we call the “Great 8 Pillars”—a practical way to diagnose what’s working, what’s not, and what matters most next.
